We were not created for time, but for eternity

Passage Ephesians 2:10:
¹⁰For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Passage John 15:16:
¹⁶You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

Your decisions will have eternal consequences.

The writer is talking to Christians in both of these passages. Once you become a Christian God has many things for you to do. We must surrender our life to Him, become His disciple. That means to study His word, meditate on His word, pray over His word. These are the tools we must use so that we can do His work

We get so caught up in the time we have here on earth forgetting that we were created for eternity. Jesus said, “ I have prepared a place for you.” We must prepare ourselves for eternity by sharing the gospel with others. That is the eternal consequences, how many are you going to take to heaven with you? Don’t set back thinking only about yourself, if you do you will be missing out on God’s blessings for your life here on earth and in heaven.

Read John 15:16 again, wow the creator of all has chosen you!! Did you get that? The creator of all has chosen you!! Make sure your decisions today makes a difference in someone’s life.
